Want to go on a diet?
If you love eating out and this is a serious part of your pleasure in life, then attempting to deprive
yourself of going out to eat and going on a strict regimen of only diet food is not likely going to succeed and most likely to make you feel even more down and out.
Yes you want to go on a diet, yes you want to lose weight, but how long is being miserable going to last? There needs to be
a compromise between what you love doing and what you need to do.
So what's the compromise? You know what's coming next...just avoid the extra's that push your meal over the 'dieters' edge!
Have a glass of wine, a steak, leave off the butter on the potato, and skip dessert! Surely you can adjust to that first
baby step?
Add a little more physical activity during the week, with a touch of
no late night eating and snacking, and you can
still be starting your first step towards a diet plan without going into extreme change in lifestyle.
